DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CALENDAR GUIDELINES.

In celebration of DIA DE LOS MUERTOS, the Centro Cultural Aztlan is coordinating a calendar of month-long exhibits and events in conjunction with the City of San Antonio’s FALL ART FESTIVALS.

We encourage you to create a DIA DE LOS MUERTOS exhibit or event anytime between October 15 and November 20, 2007. All exhibits or events must open or begin anytime between October 15 and November 19, and must remain on display at least until November 16, 2007.

The deadline for receiving the DIA DE LOS MUERTOS entry forms is JULY 31, 2007.

Please read instructions carefully.

All participants must display THE DIA DE LOS MUERTOS logo in promotional materials and at exhibition venues. You can download a hi-res logo from this web site by clicking on the link at the left of this page.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS DEADLINES

The final deadline for all event listing information and images is JULY 31, 2007. Earlier is always better. Please send your entry forms and other information by US Mail, Fed-Ex, UPS, etc. Use e-mail only as backup or to confirm delivery of materials.

EVENT LISTING REQUIREMENTS

1. Title of exhibit, event, lecture or conference. One title per venue.
2. Name(s) of artist(s) or participant(s).
3. Name of venue. Address. Phone number. Web site. E-mail address.
4. Exhibit opening and closing dates.
5. Exhibit opening reception time.
6. Exhibit viewing hours.
7. Contact person.
8. Additional credits. Curatorial, technical, etc. (optional).
9. One image for reproduction. Prints no larger than 8 x 10 inches, or digital files on CD or 100 MB ZIP Disk. Photoshop TIFFs or JPEGs only. Digital files should be 8 x 10 inches at 300 DPI. Macintosh files only. Reproduction quality slides are also acceptable. DO NOT E-MAIL IMAGES!
